Forgotten Warriors

He fought, he fought the war.
He fought like many native brothers before.
Like all warriors his skills were never poor.
Red or white, it didn't matter anymore,
sometimes with guns, sometimes hand to hand.
He fought hard to have a free land.
He fought for freedom, and fell with a warriors cry.
Tis always a good day to die.
To the natives their land was not restored,
and their enemy no longer on their shores.
The natives were once again unequal.
