Maqamikew: Mother EarthNative people have always been at one with the environment. Now that Mother Earth is sick, we should all look inside ourselves and see what we can do to help! November’s contest has few rules or guidelines. Each class and teacher can best decide how they can help. Projects to clean up a stream, beach or trail, starting a recycling program, conducting an education and awareness campaign, or even sending "get well" cards to Mother Earth would qualify. Just write up a story of your project, take photos, build a web page, or send in students’ work. We’ll help spread the word through the web pages on our site. Let’s work together to help Mother Earth! |
