First Nation Schools are eligible for $600 for
School Web Site Projects! (Classes may receive $300.)
Go to the Schoolnet Grassroots site (http://www.schoolnet.ca/grassroots/e/project.centre/index.asp)
and apply on-line!
Atlantic Canada's First Nation Help Desk (that's us!) will help you with web pages and web
space if you need it.
Also . . .
$300 is available through Generations CanConnect (http://generations-canconnect.ic.gc.ca).
The project is a collection of "profiles" of elders, written by young people.
Each project is a compilation of 15 profiles of short narratives (150 - 250 words),
written by a youth based on an interview with an elder about a personal memory, experience
or treasure, or about their contributions to the development of their community and
country.
