To the Grade 7 and 8 students and staff of Eel Ground First Nation School:

As Premier of New Brunswick, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your remarkable achievements regarding 'The People vs. Mary Moses'.

To win one award is certainly an accomplishment but to win six, including outstanding production, at the New Brunswick Drama Awards is something very special. I am certain you teachers, family and friends are extremely proud of your success.

The message of 'The People vs. Mary Moses' is important because it is through education and awareness that fetal alcohol syndrome can be prevented. I would like to commend the students for their dedication to bringing attention to this issue and for sharing this message with communities and individuals around the country through a video conference.
