the great domain name and logo contests

Your First Nation School or organization could win this!

Considerations:

The Help Desk will serve First Nation people throughout Atlantic Canada, including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I., and Newfoundland/Labrador. It will serve all of the First Nations within the service area.

An ideal domain name should roll of the tongue naturally and be easy to remember. It is expected that the approved domain name will end with ".com"

The logo should to an original graphic creation and should work equally well for print and web page media.

Contest Rules

Objective	Name the Help Desk domain name Example: http://www.nameme.com Create a logo for Atlantic Canada's First Nation Help Desk
Deadline for applications	December 13, 1999 (Domain name contest - revised - slow mail) January 3, 2000 (Create a logo contest)
Prize	JamC@m digital camera (shown above) for each contest Images go directly from camera to computer - great for web pages, newsletters, and posters!
Restrictions	Camera ownership will pass to a First Nation school (rather than to any individual).
Selection Process	1. A committee will select three top choices. 2. Names will be submitted in the registration process. 3. The domain that is approved and registered will be deemed to be the winner.
Of course...	Decisions of the judges and awards will be final. Entries become the property of Atlantic Canada's First Nation Help Desk.
