Officially, Industry Canada will loan the computer equipment to the First Nation School or Organization. The equipment will remain on the Industry Canada books and cannot be sold. However, Industry Canada will not expect the school or organization to return the borrowed equipment.

The borrower will indemnify her majesty for, and save her majesty harmless from, all losses and claims of any kind in respect of the borrower’s use or possession of the equipment, and the borrower will also comply with the reporting specified in Schedule "B", herewith attached.
Industry Canada may at any reasonable time inspect the equipment as described and view It’s state of repair.
