Gone Away
It has been so long since you have gone
The days and nights are just so long
I feel your warmth all around
With every thought, and every sound
You were kind and generous, can’t you see
I was happy when you were here with me
The thought of your smile, is a perfect sight
Your eyes let off a beautiful light
A few months ago you passed away
I wish I could tell you the things I wanted to say
Now you are gone to a place of light
The angels now can love your smile that was so bright
It has been so long since you have gone
The days and nights are just so long
