November & December 2000 Contests

Submit original artwork appropriate for the holiday season.  One winning entry will be used for Atlantic Canada's First Nation Help Desk Christmas card.  It is also possible that an entry will be used for a Christmas music CD album cover.

Prizes
Winning students will receive cash prizes as follows: High School $100, Junior High $75, Elementary $50. 

Eligibility
Entries must be from students in First Nation schools or Aboriginal students in provincial schools.

Deadline
Thursday, November 30, 2000

Submit Aboriginal language songs recorded on tape along with lyrics. Songs will be available for viewing and listening on the internet. It is our hope to release an Aboriginal language Christmas music CD at the next Treaty Day Celebration.

Prizes
The winning group will receive hardware or software valued up to $250.00 plus a pizza party.

Eligibility
Entries must be from a First Nation school or organization.
