Indspire
Indspire is the largest supporter of Indigenous education outside the federal government. To date Indspire has awarded more than $50 million in scholarships and bursaries to 14,000 First Nation, Inuit and Metis recipients nationwide. Thanks to the generosity of numerous corporate and government partners, Indspire disburses funds to Indigenous youth across Canada, covering all disciplines in four funding categories: Fine Arts, Oil and Gas and Trades and Technology, Health Careers and Post Secondary Education. Indspire is able to obtain and disburse this much-needed financial support by partnering and engaging some of Canada's leading companies, public agencies, professional and labour groups who generously invest their resources toward realization of the potential of First Nation, Inuit and Metis students.
- All Canadian resident, Indigenous individuals who are First Nation (status or non-status), Inuit or Metis and enrolled in full-time in a post secondary institution are eligible to apply.
- Applicant must fill out one current Indspire Building Brighter Futures Bursary and Scholarship Application form, fully completed and signed.
- Proof of First Nation (status or non-stuatus), Inuit or Metis status Letter of Introduction (maximum of 1,500 words, Section 7 of application form).
- Marks (official or unofficial) from your most recent academic program. Your recent marks include your grades for the last semester or term of your academic program OR from a program you completed before starting the current program in which you are enrolled. Applications submitted without grades or marks will not be assessed.
